  • Around 7 pm we arrived at our hostel, Jah Mighty Love Land. The most epic hostel I have yet stayed in. 30 m away from the beach, a bar directly at the beach and little huts to chill in beach chairs and hamocks right in front of our rooms, it was magnificent. There we met some more volunteers, who we had planned to meet there. When we went to the bar, there in a corner were three more volunteers sitting. Two of them, I already knew from our festival trip to Adukrom, Moritz and Marcel from Koforidua, who we hadn’t expected, but they didn’t expect us either. So we were a Obruni group of about 15 people after all. Just chilin in the chairs, hamocks and at the beach. It was a beach just like you would imagine it in a story book. Blue water with epic waves, white-yellow sand and palms all along the beach. It was kind of a pity that the sun was hiding on Saturday, but  it was full out on Sunday. It was a nice and relaxing weekend that will most certainly be repeated in the near future.

On 30th of March, we traveled to Winneba , to let the awesome days pass by again while relaxing on the beach. Awesome! The long beach, the high waves, the sun and especially the Jah Mighty Loveland where we spent our nights. Hanging out lazy in hammocks the whole day, talking random stuff and just calming down – it was an awesome final!

JAH MIGHTY LOVE LAND, WINNEBA

Clara writes:

I came to Winneba with the intention to stay there for two nights and I found this beautiful beautiful new place to stay right on the beach called Jah Mighty Love Land. It is a friendly welcoming place, the rooms are amazing with a giant triple bed and your own toilet and shower.
The owners are building a roof terrace overlooking the beach, coconut trees and the sea and will be holding a live band reggae concert on Easter Monday. This place is so special because you can hear the waves breaking and when you look out of your bedroom window you can see the sun sand and sea-wow-

Hallo an alle,
